What RC lubricants does Richard's Hobby Care sell?
Richard's Hobby Care Solutions sells ProGlide RC lubricants including moly crawler grease, moly silicone grease (Soft/Medium/Heavy), silicone shock oils in viscosities from 20cSt to 1200cSt, RC bearing oil, and moly degreaser/cleaner. All products are engineered for RC crawlers, buggies, drifters, and Mini 4WD.
What's the difference between moly crawler grease and moly silicone grease?
Moly crawler grease is a heavy-duty MoS₂ grease designed for metal-on-metal contact — differentials, axles, ring & pinion gears. Moly silicone grease is an MoS₂-silicone blend safe for O-rings, rubber seals, plastic gears, and pivot balls. Use crawler grease where metal grinds on metal; use silicone grease where rubber or plastic is involved.
What shock oil weight should I use for my RC crawler?
For slow-speed rock crawling, 500–700cSt is the most popular starting point. Heavier 900–1200cSt gives slower rebound for technical sections. Lighter 200–400cSt suits faster off-road driving styles. ProGlide Silicone Shock Oil covers the full 20cSt–1200cSt range so you can dial in exactly the feel you want.
